Our Mission
TO TURN OFF SCREENS AND TURN ON SMILES

At Art.Unplug! we ignite creativity for children between 5 and 13 years old. We use art to spark joy and connection, fostering imagination, self-expression, and a love for learning that transcends the screen.
We offer fun art projects with music, dance, creative extra-curricular activities, and art games woven in, making every session interesting and memorable, after school, during holidays, weekends, and special occasions like birthdays and celebrations.
We’re passionate about art and making it simply cool. Join us!
What is Art | Unplug.
Art.Unplug! means taking a break from screens and technology and diving into the world of art. It’s hitting the pause button on video games and phones to unleash your child’s creativity.

GOOD BYE 2024. THAT WAS FUN!

Term 1 – 2025: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We are delighted to be back at Southbridge School! This term, we have an array of exciting art activities lined up, including:
Week 1: Welcome back our young artists and families. The booking system has been updated. See you on Term 1: Week 2, 4th / 5th February 2025.
Weeks 2-5: This period, we are building on the skills we explored last year in painting and drawing, and we’re ready to take our work to the next level.
Our young artists will now be transferring their creations onto canvases and preparing them for framing as we get ready for an exciting year for our artworks to be displayed at the Lakeland Art Gallery in Leeston. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their hard work and creativity.
We can’t wait to see how their artwork develops and to share it with the wider community at the gallery.
Weeks 6-8: Introduction to fabric sculpting, 3D building, and wood crafting
Weeks 9-10: Introduction to sewing, jewellery making, and installation art
Week 11: Last week: Compilation of Term 1 Artworks
TERM 2 TO TERM 4 2025 Overview: Photography, Pottery, Printmaking, and Upcycling
We can’t wait to dive into these activities and watch the young artists grow and express themselves through their art. See you next week. For further information or any inquiries, please contact Kaye.
